HenriettaPaint Quarter Horse Mare

    Name:   Henrietta
Breed and Color:   Paint Quarter Horse
    Age:   17
    Height:   14.3hh
    Gender:   Mare

She may technically be one horsepower in the literal sense of the word, but we think Henrietta is more Porsche than Prius. This sporty and athletic girl is chock-full of potential and could be used for just about anything! Henrietta has been ridden in a snaffle and a halter while at Believe and did well with both. Her solid performance during training and on the trails has earned her the place as one of our trainer’s current favorites and she has notably good ground manners. Henrietta is also popular out of saddle; she is good with the vet, nice to the farrier, doesn’t mind getting hosed down and doesn’t give much bother to dogs and machinery. Between all this and her one blue-brown eye, she’s quite the unique find!

An easy-keeper, Henrietta is currently living the good life full-time in an outdoor paddock with a mixed herd of fellow rescues. She doesn’t get grain regularly and doesn’t need a lot of work to stay in shape. However, she does want to have some work; both she and friend Tucker were previously adopted from Believe but were returned after their new family’s kids got into other sports and no longer had enough time for riding.

Henrietta is up-to-date on vaccines, worming, teeth float, farrier, and vetting

Recommended Rider:  Suitable for Intermediate or Confident riders or riders under instruction.

Adoption Requirements:  Henrietta’s best buddy is a handsome riding gelding named Tucker. Because of their bond, they need to be adopted together.

Ailments/Limitations:  None! Henrietta is currently barefoot and sound with no indications of previous injury.
